IFM is a leading provider of Lubrication, Fuel and Chemical related services. Our customers range from Chemical Manufacturing plants to Upstream Oil & Gas operators to General Manufacturing companies. We own and operate specialty equipment to provide Chemical Cleaning, High Velocity Flushing, Air blows/Line Drying, Pigging and many other specialized services.
Job Summary
The Field Supervisor is responsible for overall management of the client relationship and project from development to completion. They are responsible for managing Chemical Cleaning, High Velocity Flushing, Air blows/Line Drying, and Pigging Services. The Project Manager will report to the Operations Manager. This Job is ~75% Travel. Normally working a 7 / 12 schedule for up to 60 days
Responsibilities
- Manage project development from initiation to close
- Oversee IFM employees, contract workers and employees of customers; lead small team (2-10 people) at customer site
- Work hands-on alongside IFM technicians performing manual labor required to complete project
- Ensure safety, company, customer and insurance requirements are met and followed throughout the project
- Work with Business Development and Project Manager / Operations Manager on meeting customer expectations
- Manage communication of expectations for the project to all internal and external parties involved
- Manage internal job tracking (documentation)
- Drives continuous improvement efforts for the division; develops technicians
- Continuing education. Obtain industry certifications, attend industry presentations and stay current with industry trends and publications
Experience/Qualifications
- 5+ years of field leadership
- 3+ years experience with High Velocity Flushing, Air blowing/ Pigging or Chemical Cleaning Services
- Strong business acumen
- Strong communication skills
- Growth mindset
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, bend, climb, walk, and stand for long periods of time.
- Work around chemicals, including acids and bases, work around hydrocarbons under high pressure and heat.
- Climb ladders and stairs up to 170 feet in height.
- Wear fire retardant clothing and personal protective equipment according to company policy (such as steel-toe shoes, ear, and eye protection, hard hat, H2S monitor, respirator/face mask)
- Work extended hours which may include evenings, inclement weather, weekends, and holidays.
