Position Summary:
Industrial Fluid Management is seeking a qualified full-time embedded Lubrication Specialist in the Mobile, Alabama region to establish a world-class lubrication program at a customer facility. The goal of this individual will be to maximize reliability through quality lubrication and contamination control.
Job Responsibilities:
The Lubrication Specialist will be responsible for the management of all lubrication maintenance functions, including:
- Routine servicing of grease/oil points with appropriate tools
- Working with Reliability Engineer and site personnel to standard Lubrication PMs.
- Oil Sampling and Analysis
- Lubrication Hardware Modifications
- Lubrication Contamination Control and Storage
- Equipment Oil Level Monitoring and top off
- Document and communicate progress and tasks to all relevant stakeholders
- Participate and comply with Customer facility and IFM Health and safety policies
- Utilize specialized software to track and plan work tasks
Experience and Qualifications:
Required
- High school diploma/ GED
- Ability to pass drug screen
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, ladders, operate forklift
- Ability to obtain MLT1 certification within 3 months of hire
- Ability to obtain TWIC, OSHA basic, and Site Specific training
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organized and task oriented
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-4 years experience with lubrication tasks preferred
- 1-4 years experience in a plant environment preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft office
- Strong safety record
Work schedule expectations
- Minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Available for emergency call outs within 3 hours.
- Typical Schedule is Mon-Fri
