Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for preventative and everyday maintenance.  This position will be located in Thibodaux and will report to the Maintenance Manager.

 

Responsibilities

  1. Wash, paint and weld on tanks and buildings
  2. Repair/install pumps on tanks and dispensers
  3. Perform preventative maintenance on and fix equipment
  4. Install and change light bulbs, signs, shelving, displays, etc.
  5. Deliver and pick up tanks and equipment
  6. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report findings to proper supervision
  7. Assist other maintenance technicians as needed
  8. Take after hours and weekend calls
  9. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

 

Experience/Qualifications

  • Welding experience preferred
  • Willingness to be on call rotation
  • Ability to work under moderate supervision
  • Growth Mindset
