THIBODAUX, Louisiana, December 1, 2025 — Gaubert Oil Company is proud to announce the addition of Garett J. Robichaux as Reliability Engineer for its Industrial Fluid Management (IFM) division. Robichaux joins IFM with extensive experience in reliability-centered maintenance, predictive technologies, and lubrication program design for industrial and petrochemical operations.
In his new role, Robichaux will provide expert technical support and field engineering services to IFM’s petrochemical and manufacturing clients throughout the Gulf South. He will support reliability and lubrication management programs, oil analysis initiatives, contamination control projects, and continuous improvement activities that help customers extend equipment life, eliminate unplanned downtime, and reduce maintenance costs.

Robichaux previously served as Reliability Engineer at Birla Carbon, where he led large-scale root cause and failure mode analyses, developed predictive maintenance programs, and trained plant teams in ultrasonic greasing and vibration diagnostics. Earlier in his career, he worked in maintenance and reliability roles for Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), overseeing reliability assessments and implementing data-driven maintenance systems across Gulf Coast facilities.
Garett holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and postgraduate coursework in Reliability and Maintainability Engineering from the University of Tennessee Knoxville. Garett has previously obtained his Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional (CMRP) through SMRP, and holds certifications in vibration analysis, oil analysis and precision maintenance.
